SOLD
I am willing to sell my Shelby for a certain car that has come up for sale. If I can't find a buyer in time I will be more than happy to keep her. She is my pride and joy and has been treated as such through out my ownership.
She currently has 51,xxx miles, I bought it back in April 2016 with 37,xxx miles. The owner before me had it dynod and it made 615whp and 610 tq. That was on a 93 tune before cat delete.
The miles have been easy and she has only been to the track once for 3 runs down the strip with no launches. Just a soft roll out of first and foot to the floor in second and on, where it ran a 12.0 with a dang drink cooler and sub system in the back too! (didn't have anywhere to put the cooler or subs)
The first thing I did when I bought it was replace the gen 1 MGW it had with a gen 2 MGW. The first time I experienced the infamous second gear lock out I vowed to replace it before anymore spirited driving.
I take the utmost care and respect for the car as I hope my description and pictures will prove. However... While driving down the interstate the tarp came off the top of a gravel truck and gave the car about 5 good scratches. I can honestly say this is the worst thing it has ever experienced and most of it has been corrected except for a couple of pieces in the stripes on the front bumper which I will be happy to get quoted and fixed by a Ford here in town, Or I can just take that number off our sale price. Your call.
Unless specified, all mods were done by previous owner who had pro shops install them.
Mods:
2.3L TVS with stock pulley. Taken directly off a 2013 GT500 with <3,000 miles.
Lightning performance HE (I have never experienced heatsoak with the HE)
Bob's ultimate oil separator which works very well.
UPR Lower control arms
2011 GT500 clutch
Sct handheld tuner with Lund tune currently programmed
Lethal Performance O/R X pipe (done by me). I still have the OEM midpipe if you want it.
Magnaflow Competition series (done by me, also sounds amazing.)
MGW Gen 2 shifter (bought by me but pro installed by performance shop)
An amazing touchscreen Alpine stereo with a great navigation system. Never realized how badly I need nav in my car and not my phone till I bought this car. It can also play DVD's as well and the screen flips out for a lil bonus cool factor. There's a safety feature built into the alpine to keep it from playing DVD's while driving but a safety bypass switch has been installed to defeat that if you so wish.
American Muscle 2013 GT500 style wheels in gloss black (bought by me, installed by pro)
I had Nitto NT05R 315 drag radials installed with the new wheels. And let me tell you I will never buy a different DR. These things hook perfect and go. Still lots of life left (I can honestly say I have never done a burn out or heat cycle with this car).
The Shelby badge on the trunk lid has been replaced with a highly desirable "In honor of Carroll Shelby" badge with his years of life. I've been given a ton of offers on this piece and I'm half tempted to keep it for myself for a future GT500 when I can afford both it and a termi.
I managed to snag a carbon fiber Carrol Shelby boost gauge that I installed into the air vent for a clean OEM look. I may keep it and put the air vent back in though. Will include pictures.
Shelby KR Headrest covers which are a nice little touch.
Tinted tail lights. I have the originals as well in a box you may take.
The car also came stock with HIDS and the shaker 1000 system with a nice but not excessive sub system in the trunk. Super easy to remove if not desired.
I'm sure there's stuff I'm forgetting, I will edit as it comes to me.
Price: 27.5k
