Really don’t know why moderators removed my post about my 2004 Cobra Convertible for sale but I would have appreciated at least an explanation. Thanks for all replied.
no he didn't even after he was advised that he should read them and complyDid you follow the rules?

to be honest I have to wonder if it is actually his car in the first place. the pics he did post were more like ford publicity pics in a sterile white room .... not even a garageWell then. Thats why its removed. No explanation needed by mods then.
Well i also noticed he just signed up last month. Sounds like a possible scammerto be honest I have to wonder if it is actually his car in the first place. the pics he did post were more like ford publicity pics in a sterile white room .... not even a garage
One question before you go, is it your car?Wow. This was just a guy (me) who’s not really computer savvy trying to offer it for sale here before advertising elsewhere because I’d visited here from time to time to gather information. I get the hint and I absolutely won’t ever post here again. Wow. I do however, appreciate the gentleman who reached out to me and explained the post it note thing to me by phone today. He was a gentlemen and a fellow collector. Good luck and good bye guys as I will not be back. Car will be advertised in Autotrader Friday.
I know who he is. Then why so upset when your thread was pulled if you understand the rules? Happens all the time even with long time members.Yes it is my car and I very much understand the need for rules. It was a simple case of me not researching them prior to posting and I make no excuses for that, and again, a very nice gentleman (who can step forward if he wishes) asked for my phone number, called and inquired about the car and explained the rule and why it was in place.

Honestly, that’s pretty lame for someone who claims to be 49 years old.I didn’t understand until after he called and explained them but no worries. Good luck on your site and the best to you all.
ByeYou can now place me in that minority of members who do think you’re an asshole. A brave man behind a clown avatar. Great site. Good lord this was bizarre.
Let me add to what 03Cobra said. Outside of not following the rules, when I looked at your post I saw a car in a white room. very few who are not dealers have a totally empty white room they can put their car in for pictures, so the first question that rose up was "is this really his car?". Then there was the lack of details or a price. When taken in total it screamed either a dealer trying to pretend he was a private seller or a scammer trying to sell something he didn't really own.
in your original thread a couple of us said you needed to read the rules for selling. they are not hard to find since they are a sticky at the top of the forum section. You don't have to be "computer savy" to read a post that says "new market rules"
The internet can be a cold bitch.I have seen this Comp Orange CV, I have placed my hands on it and put my ass in the drivers seat. Nice car. Was purchased from PA dealer (mystery solved), that is where the photos were from. I feel bad as I am new to the SVT forum too and encouraged him to post if he had an interest in selling. My sincere apologies. The challenge is that folks just go so pit bull so quickly nowadays on these forums, it discourages those from wanting to participate. Sure that Ebay, Autotrader, etc... are grateful. Obviously, you are free to hammer out whatever you want to say on any forum, I get it, but in the end it is the forum that will just die out slowly. Perhaps this is why many forums just die out or they go to Facebook where it is more friendly and cordial. Hopefully I won't get lit up by trying to be nice and encourage civility in this post. Thank you.
