TMI 2004 Cobra Dark Charcoal/Mystichrome Leather Seat Upholstery for all 1999-2004 Ford Mustangs.
Restore or re-style your Mustang's seats with a set of TMI's 2004 Cobra seat upholstery in dark charcoal leather with Mystichrome leather inserts. In 2004, Ford released the 2004 Cobra with a color changing paint called Mystichrome. Ford offered something that has never been seen before, color changing seats to match the Mystichrome exterior paint. Ford started with their dark charcoal leather for the side bolsters and headrest, then added the Mystichrome leather for the center insert. They then finished the seats by embroidering the Cobra logo in black. All sets also include new matching upholstery for the headrests (03/04 Cobra large style headrests).
TMI was able to secure the remaining NOS Ford Mystichrome material to offer this beautiful replacement seat upholstery. This is available in limited quantities and once it is gone, it is gone forever.
TMI's 2004 Mystichrome Cobra upholstery is a great upgrade for 1999-2004 Mustang V6 and GT seat frames. The 2004 Mystichrome Cobra seat upholstery has larger built-in side bolsters that requires the 2003-2004 Cobra seat foam (SF27) for installation on the V6 and GT seat frames.
*Will work on all 1999-2004 V6 and GT seats, but you must use new 03/04 Cobra seat foam, SF27.
*V6/GT Mustangs will need to reuse their original small headrest upholstery or buy new headrest upholstery to match (sold separately).

I bought a full set of it and I have some problem so install the new upholstery on the new seat foam. I just have the problems with the backrest of the front seats. For me, it looks like the seat foam is too thick, so that the seat cover is about 1-2inches so small.
Do I have to cut the foam or is there a trick to install it?

So you have New TMI front bucket foam - and new TMI Seat Upholstery?
And the two are not fitting with one another? - That is definitely a strange occurence, as the upholstery was patterned in conjunction with our foam. Is anyway you can elaborate a little more and possibly send me pictures of the area you're having issues with? Email: [email protected]
Cobra covers out for the fox seats yet?
So I just bought another 03 cobra and it has gt/v6 seats, I know I can buy the foam and Upholstery to make just like the original 03 cobra seats, but what do I do about the headrest, Do you make a foam kit for that with the upholstery aswell, or do you sell the headrest separate?
