Well 2 years ago I had a catastrophic oil pump failure and wiped out the motor. So it was time to build again...
-Cobra Block
-Diamond Pistons
-Manley H beam rods (with ARP200 bolts)
-ARP 2000 main studs
-TSS oil pump
-ARP 2000 head studs
-Trickflow 44cc Heads
-Custom ground cams
-Logan Motorsports Intake manifold
-Custom cold side
-HP twin kit (57mm)
yada yada...

The car made 500 rwhp @6psi on the break in tune...
Finally got the motor and clutch broken in, 2 days before we head down to mustang week, I hit the dyno.

This pull, the fans for the intercooler had vibrated away and wasn't even facing the car, causing 140+ intake temp and pulling timing, on top of the 95* ambient temp and 98% humidity. We ran out of time, so I didn't get an official number, but I would guess probably 750rwhp+ 17psi on 93 octane. Not bad for a lil 4.6 2v. I will be going back to put it back on soon to get some real numbers and make a few small tweaks.

Duh OP! lol. I always say a built 2V will make comparable power to a built 4v. Imagine if GTs came forged from the factory!

The fans that blow on the intercooler/radiator when on the dyno
Awesome. Great work on the engine bay and wire tuck.

If done correctly, 2v's can definitely make good power

Very nice. Built 2V's run well on KB blowers as well. My old one put down 745rwhp with the KB 2.8, blower only. Too bad the bigger (4.5L, 4.7L) weren't available then.

So you have fans that you installed just for dyno pulls? Where those big carpet dryers not doing anything for ya to move air through the IC and rad?

Sorry, just confused as to why you have these fans.

Great numbers and great car though. Definitely one of the nicest 2v powered mustangs around!

I'm selling my '99

Since I know it's sentimental...we'll go 6k, and I'll even deliver.

Stupid power from a piece of garbage 2V.
