1st NA 2011+ Mustang 3.7 V6 in the 12's!!!

I took my DD 6 speed manual '11 3.7 Mustang to the track rental at MIR on 9/24/12. I was able to make the first 12 second pass by a NA '11+ 3.7 V6. My best pass was a 12.91 @ 106.49 MPH. This time eclipsed the old record of 13.02 set with an automatic trans '11 3.7 Mustang.

There really isn't any more NA mods to do that would help the car. They make a throttle body for the car, but the stock one is fine until you go FI. I guess you could have the heads ported and few tricks like that. I think some more suspension mods would help trim some time off of the car.

I was power shifting on the 12.91 pass. This was my first time out with the Spec Stage 1 clutch and it releases, engages and has a different feel than the stock clutch. I think with some more practice there is some improvements to be made there.

Yes, my son said when he was videoing he saw the wheels come off the ground on two of the passes. I'm hoping somebody at the track might have got a shot with them off the ground.

At my power level the stock coils are more thsn enough. The suspension mods would definitely help!!
