Looks like it could have been a pirates booty. Fitted in a box container, someone was trying to keep it from being seen.

My dad as 2 of those exact cars; one is a 427 425HP in very similar condition and one is a 427 390HP in better condition;

That car would bring $35-45k++ the way it sits and over $100k restored if it's optioned nicely (tri-carb, power windows, telescoping wheel ect)

Do a Google search on "amazing barn finds" and you'll see quite a few older collectible cars that are in various states of decay. One that I saw was half buried in soil. A shame to see valuable collectibles just wasting away.
