I found this 1930 Model A Tudoor Sedan.. Decided to turn it into a rat rod... This is how it looked when I first saw it..

Got it back to the shop, then did the frame and fender delete mod...

Started the project after x-mas, got it rolling bout a month ago..Its been really fun so far...

Very nice!!! I've always wanted to do a flathead ford truck rat rod with a wood bed....

dude I want to build one of these sooooooo bad and use it as my daily driver. How much money do you have invested in the project if you dont mind me asking? It looks great by the way :coolman::thumbsup:

That is one cool project you did there. And yeah, really nice to see a Ford motor. And a 390 at that! Really neat!

4,000 for body and parts .. 5,000 in Fe build... But you could do it cheap and put a sbc in it....prob have 5,000 in the hole build....

I want more pictures of the suspension setup in the front during/after!! any good places to read up on suspension for a frame setup like that? what wall thickness did you use for the frame rails? im seriously excited to do a build like this in the near future. please share any good links or any kind of info that would help along the way. Anything you regret or want to change?


That thing is badass as hell. Must turn some heads. I couldn't imagine how bad it scrapes though

Ha ya it gets the right attention most of the time.... But Im also meeting lots of nice LEOs too... But ya it scrapes if your not paying attention to where your driving.

Yes go too Killbillet.com great forum, with tons of info for rat rods n hot rods..I went with 2 x 3 tubing with a 3/16 wall thickness for my frame. Ill prob be changing my front axle.. Its from a 1939 ford pickup, it works fine but i could use some more clearence.. its only a 1.5 drop from the factory...

Yes air bags in the back..ill try and get some more pics for ya later
