So gentlemen and ladies, I have picked up this running and driving terminator 10th anniv car.... She is old and crusty but runs and drives. It came with a truckload of parts that basically include everything needed for a full build. Problem is I want to keep it stock and just resto the engine bay and outside. A wrap with prep work will be about 4.5k or so... thats alot of money to sink into the build. So any suggestions on how to cheaply restore the paint or wrap is helpful. If I have to wrap it I will of course... I want this baby to run like she was first rolling off the show floor. This isnt my first resto, but this will certainly be the biggest Ive done. I have the help of a local guy Murphys Auto Detailing in Elkmont, AL that knows his stuff. But any help is appreciated. Where should we start? Basically change out all the bad coolant lines? Make sure the intercooler is working? Oil change in the engine and supercharger? Basically hit me with any advice or tips. Also if anyone needs any of the parts in the list I will sell them stupid cheap... My car is kind of famous now as some of you have seen it in the 1320 video giveaway mystichrome. That was my car down here in Giles, County TN. Kyle offered to buy it and I sold it to him. So hopefully that will rest your mind about getting your parts haha.

More pics of the car? I’d start with changing all
The fluids and doing a compression check. How much for some of the parts? Maybe make a for sale thread in the market section.

Yeah I'll have to figure out how much they are all worth. Then undercut that some. Make a deal for someone wanting a package. There's so many parts not even on that list. Have to get everything Inventoried. I'll be doing a compression check in a little for sure.

What Gen Whipple? What do you’d think you’d want for it?

It's a gen 2 whipple 2.3L. I'd sell for $2500 picked up or prob like $2750 shipped since it would need an insane packaging. Also have a set of brand new 1000 injectors from injector clinic I'd pair with it for $3000 picked up for both. Here's some pics of these. I'll make a for sale post soon. So many parts here.

I’d start with a good power washing of everything, body, underside, engine bay. Then you can see the actual condition of everything.

Plan on changing all the fluids; oil, coolant, trans fluid, blower oil, brake fluid, PS fluid, diff fluid.

Change the belts. Blower has an after market pulley installed already. So it’s not a stock blower belt length.

Did it come with a hand held tuner? I would give it a compression check and get it on a dyno to verify the tune.

Plan on new fuel pumps, they are over 20 years old if stock and should be replaced no matter what, even if you return to complete stock condition.

^^^^^ Excellent advice here. I'd second the advice to start with a good power wash of everything. Don't even start any plan until you better know the actual condition of the paint, engine bay, etc. I have no doubt you'll figure it all out.

I think I saw this car for sale on Facebook. I look forward to seeing it progress. I was tempted to get it myself but was too far away.

So to update. Compression test came back 150 on passenger side heads and 130-139 on drivers side heads. Within 15% spread spec. So I'll install head cooling mod and monitor/run her until she goes. Seems fine and motor is running strong. I need to also install catch can for sure. For now I'm happy. The tune shows her idling at 16-16.5 afr and mild throttle 12 ish. I haven't got into boost yet to check the afr there. I won't until I finish doing pulleys and get a proper road test tune done atleast. But it seems she was tuned I believe. Had a 2.76 metco and I ordered a replacement 2.80 metco. She also has a set of metco idler pulleys. Not sure what belt size I'll need to order. But I'll figure that out. Finally got her cleaned up a bit too. Installed new x pipe to fix the leak, bunch of other little maintenance items like plugs and iacv, frps, etc. Here's a pic of her engine now. The before is above in original post.
