It is a shop car, you can bet your ass there is alot of $$ invested. That thing moves though, and what 9 second car doesen't have alot of money invested into it? :shrug: I don't see too many very fast STI's though, I see a ton more quick EVO's out there...

the ams evo runs low 9's. big al's evo runs 9.9 and a few others in the 9's. so its like for every 5 or so evos in the 9 to 10 1/4 mile there is one sti that actually runs. not hateing on sti's what so ever thats just how it is.

Wow an engine that has been out for 15 years has more 9 sec cars than an engine that has been out for barely 3. THIS IS MADNESS!!! oke: :bash:

maybe the tranny was touched by god? my freids stock first gear gave out with minimal mods hard launching.

Thats b/c your buddy had a WRX not an STi.
