We really have 7 pages fighting over if a modded GT500 can out run a STOCK Z06?

Really? Who keeps a Z06 Stock? My grandma.. maybe. :lol:

I've owned all the above.. the Z06 and the GT500 modded. The GT500 would have a HARDER time to out run the Z06. Why? The GT500 is a TOTAL PAIN in the BUTT to get traction in compared to the Z06. Driving the Z06 takes 1/4 the skill to launch/drive compared to the GT500. Its cake.

Why? Look at the rear tire difference.. Bicycle tires on the GT500 are CRAP!!! Also.. the Z06 has the Tranny (MORE WEIGHT) over the rear tires. It launches and gets full traction at a roll. That combined with better Aero and Weight helps.

BUT................ from a ROLL. ONLY A ROLL. A pullied GT500 Vs a STOCK Z06 would be about even to about 100 MPH.. ONLY! Then its OVER. (ONLY IF THE DRIVERS are EVENLY skilled and **stock tires on both**)
