Looks like Johnny Bohmer in his 06 FGT finally beat M2k motorsports FGT record, previously at 300.4 mph at the Texas mile. Crazy that two Ford GT have gone over 300mph now in the standing mile.

I want to at least hit 200mph once in my life, but 310 is kinda crazy lol.
And to think top fuel/funny cars hit that almost instantly. That thing does pull hard though.

When you think how fast it is going and how long his run was, it was obvious it was more than a mile and he used pretty much all of the runway so it had to be at least 2 miles running at 300mph for as long as he was.
I would think at 310mph you'd need at least 1/2 a mile or more to slow down.
Judging from the way the car moved when he shifted, it literally looked like he would spin until he hit about 160mph.
