I don't think so either, but I do think it would have been even or at least closer if I could have hooked up. I stopped his pull once I hooked in 3rd.

I see people are still running 17lbs of boost on a twinscrew.

You raced on street tires as well. Drag radials of course would have helped but still wouldn't do that blower justice with that boost. You weren't going to pull on 17lbs with a twinscrew. Peak numbers are cool and all though. At least its only a 2.3. There are people that buy a 3.4 crusher setup and run 18lbs and wonder why they loose. Im sure your car still runs well. No offense.

Even with a loss, you've got a really nice '04 Mystichrome Cobra there! :)

I raced a C6 LS3 last summer that had a full exhaust, intake and tune (stock cam) and the first run we were dead even and 2nd run he put a length on me. I'm surprised the Cobra didn't put up a better fight, even with the traction issue.

When he gets back from overseas I'll have a better set of tires and we'll do it again. If I can hook in second he wouldn't have jumped out on me like he did, which is where he stayed for the rest of the run. Either way his car runs good and we had fun:burnout:
