ditch the UPR shifter for a PRO 5.0 with a steeda handle. nittos suck with a twin screw, go with hoosier or Mickey Thompson rear drag radials and you can run nittos or BFG's up front. look at pics of the H&R sport drop vs the Race series drop, the sports are VERY low, you will also need a bumper steer kit (steeda or upr) and low porfile IRS bolts.
I would not waste you time and money on a MAFia and BAP if you have the money to spend. Go with twin GT pump, modified FPDM, and a SCT 2800 MAF. This is all if you have the money to spend.
as far as pulley's, what boost to you want to see? I run the Metco lower kist and love it, the billtet flow idler pullys are a must as well.
I would drive and learn the car with the 3.55 gears until I jumped right in to a 3.73. A cobra with a kenne bell running right is a lot of car to handle if you have not driven one before. I would also check out the speed of sound gauges instead of the autometer if you want a custom gauge that matches stockers.
Always search the forum before posting, there is every bit of info on svtp it just takes the time and effort finding it all. good luck!

bumper steer kit ????????

I don't plan on racing the car for awhile no matter what. Im just trying to get the mods i need for the KB. I need to be able to drive the car with out blowing the motor. I have payed for a 4V rebuild before dont want to do that again. My plan is to find a ford 9in to put in the rear. I figured while i have that dropped i would put a stronger clutch in. The list was just a starter point, that is why i posted it on here. I knew somewere i could change something. Thank you guys for the info and i could always use more.

+1 on the UPR junk! I'm running the Pro 5.0 with the Steeda Tri-ax handle! ...3.55's really a pretty good gear for the Cobra IMO, and get a good tune!

I heard the 8.8 will bolt right up but when we built rock crawlers they didnt hold up to well. That is why i said a 9in. I think i will just keep the IRS for now cause i guess the guy that put solid axles in is getting ready to head to afgan.

I can't make up my mind on what to do first. I have been talking to friends and they tell me to put the kb boosta pump, CAI, and the Mafia on it. Nino S told me to scratch that and put a twin GT pump, modified FPDM, and a SCT 2800 MAF on instead. I only want to put the best of parts on this car. Right now i just need to get it to were i can drive it. I know i cant drive it with just a KB and 60 lbs injectors on it without messing it up.

So i should just put twin GT pump, modified FPDM, SCT 2800 MAF, and the JLT CAI on it for now so i can drive it? Im going to take it to MCRacing in KC. They will do a dyno tune with the SCT x3. With those mods i will be able to drive it with out messing the motor up right? Like i said this is my first 03 cobra and im just trying to get advice so it is done right the first time.

$524.95

Pro5.0 03-04 Cobra T-56 Shifter
$204.99

Steeda Tri-Ax Shifter Handle Forged

Okay this is what i found, instead of the 2800 MAF i put the 3000. They didnt have the 2800 on that site. Let me know if this is what i need to put on to make it driveable. Now the Lethal Performance Dual FPDM Wire Harness Kit will i need it the FPDM kit i have up above?
