03 Cobra Vid

Just a short video i put together of speedsun's 03 DSG Cobra. Nothing crazy, mostly playing with my new Canon T1i and Contour Roam cameras.

Sweet vid! I would love to have a sick camera. I've always wondered how when you have two different videos of the same scene how you line them up perfectly like you did with the in car go pro and the footage from the passenger seat. Can't wait for summer to take vids :beer:

I picked up the T1i gently used off a guy for $500 with bag and some extra battery's and what not. There was a T3i on the Market section of SVTP that went for 550 the other day. you can get a hold of them for pretty cheap. I also purchased the Contour off Amazon for $68 bucks when they were on sale.

The shots werent too hard to line up, i used Avid Studio to do all the editing.

Nice vid, but good lord that exhaust sounds awful at the :22 fly-by. What is his set-up? SLP?

Its a UPR O/R X with Magnaflow catback.

I missed 3rd. That's why it sounds like that. We had other footage but it got too dark and the video was just headlights basically. You can search youtube for that set-up and it would change your opinion.

Its gotten difficult to get in 3rd lately and the throw out bearing is making a ton of noise so a clutch job is happening in a couple weeks. Hopefully that will resolve the issue.

It just wasn't a good day for filming in my car. Got my ass handed to me by a big turbo RX-7 later. Not a good day at all
