there is an an interesting article in this months hot rod magazine about aluminum radiators...

it says that virtually all us production cars have used aluminum radiators since the mid-80's.

aluminum even tho not as good a heat conductor as brass, can be manufactured with larger tubes, and therefore alum rads are more efficient given similar height and width

it says that a thinner radiator is itself more efficient, since any rows added to the back of the core are less effective than the front row.

i would ultimately like to go with an aftermarket piece, but am hesitant to relocate the abs unit.
