does it make a "clunk" sound when you let off the gas, and then press the pedal again? does it "clunk" when shifting thru gears?
does it grind when shiting gears?
does the car pull from/to either side?
does the steering "creak" or make strange noises when turning the wheel?
is there any rubber up in the wheel wells from doing burnouts?
listen for any odd noises when taking the test drive. turn the radio off...and listen to the car (as you drive...make turns...etc.)

just a couple of things for ya to check for. =]

The chances of finding a bone stock since birth are very limited.
A lot of people including SVTP peeps return their cars to so-called stock.
Nobody will really ever know unless you are the original owner or a mod king who has beat the living shit out of the car.

There are many threads on this board for do and don'ts. Use the search function limiting the criteria you're looking for..

Ask to see the car up on a lift so you can look for prior collisions. There are a bunch of these cars that get rebuilt and you want to be perfectly clear about what you're buying and how the price reflects that too.

ok guys the car i'm looking at is now has a upper pulley(not sure which size) and has a flowmaster exhaust. The delaer said that they bought it from a 70 year old guy that legally could not drive it anymore. Car passed emmissions and inspection with flying colors and even has the supercharger pulley cover on it. Any input guys?
