1997 Cobra with a chipped key. To clone it, a locksmith quoted me $179. Don't even want to know what the Dealer wants.
I'm wondering why so much? It's not programming anything since I already have a working key. A key guy in the middle of a mall wanted $60, like 10 years ago and I didn't do it...
Alarm went off and I had to disconnect the battery to turn off the honking.
Putting the key in and turning on the ignition didn't work.
How do I arm & disarm the factory alarm? I bought this car used & never knew how to use it. The key looks like a copy (w/chip). Thanks.

Plug in there now, NGK TR6 (V Power). Advanced Auto Website says this ain't the right plug! It's been in there for years. Had motor work by previous owner, so I dunno.
Advanced Auto says to use NGK TR55

Are there any tricks to removing Accessory Belt? (to change the alternator)
Due to the Vortech, I can't access the tensioner pulley from the top so I have to jack up the car and access it from the bottom. Or is there a way to do so from the top?
