do all verts ride harsh..i have a 99 Cobra and its like soft and smooth compared to my 97....are is there a change to different springs that can help

what is normal ..mine is smooth w/ a little vibration..it has 11.5k miles, idle rpm great..runs perfect..no issues...my 97 i'm use to the idle like a miss every so often little lope...i know the engines have differences as far as heads,intakes,pcm.......or should i not try to compare...
