Steering Jerks

Can find nothing loose ...but on a rippled road or intersection the steering wheel will just jerk to one side L or R...had this in a 73 Roadrunner..never figured it out...stock 97 Cobra 50k miles ????

Pretty normal. I had it in my 99 GT with stock 245s. I think its referred to as tramlining.
I could be wrong but thats probably what your experiencing?

Size has less to do with it than tread design.

My Nitto 555extreems barely did it.
Switched to Kuhmo ecsta MX and that was the only complaint I had with them.
Tramlining was horrible. and both were the same size.

Some do it, some don't but you won't know until they're on unless you know someone with the same set up.

i see NITTO's...ball joints ...tie rod ends(inside/outside)..possible bushings....do it all at the same time..hate bad steering...good thing about military base...craft shop....thanks for all the input....
