I started my car today, for the first time in a week. While letting it run I noticed a high pitched whine from the speakers. When I turned the radio off the whine went away. I think I am hearing (EMI) from the alternator through the radio. Does that sound right to anyone else?

my friend is in the market to buy a new car. He is very unsure if the 3 valve engines of the 05 or the quad cam of the mach 1 might be the way to go. the price of the cobras around here made it an unlikely choice for him so he settled on the mach or the 05.
