I was just coming up to a stop sign when my truck just shut off on me. It will only crank and I'm not getting my wait to start light or any of the injector noise.
I was thinking that this could be the cam position sensor finally failing on me.
Please help thanks.

If it's a 7.3 truck which it probably is the fuel heater shorted out and blew a fuse. If the fuse blew it shuts down the whole processor. I called my Tuner and asked him lol.

Let us know what it is.

My Tuner didn't answer but I'll try him back in a minute and post what he says.

Now it depends on the year. Usually it's one of the big maxi fuses under the hood. Probably a 30 amp fuse too.

Thank Blankenship Tuning and Performance.

Thanks for all the help.
I checked all the fuses in the underhood location. All were fine. Time to change the cam sensor.

Did you look in both fuse boxes or just the one under the hood? He's going to look it up now.

Did it blow that fuse you just put in? If so you can disconnect the fuel heater from the outside the fuel filter housing if you need to.

It's in the fuse panel in the dash and fuse number 30 and it's a 30 amp fuse. It's in the instrument fuse panel. Drivers side of the dash.

That's why he needed the year of the truck above.
