Atlas and Red Dirt should both work. I have an Atlas trigger and shoe sitting around waiting to install on my XC.
On your question of which gun, I think a Staccato P is hard to beat for the price.
I don't really have a strong desire to upgrade the trigger on my P.
Yes, it was with subs. Picked up 1,000 rounds of this.
Actually took off my hearing protection for a few rounds and it was less sound than my Milwaukee M18 nail gun...
I took it out yesterday, it shot great. Not sure how it compares to my other 556 suppressor.
It seemed less gassy. I will say, the Geissele upper with this suppressor shot like a dream compared to my old DD MK18 with an AAC M4-2000. That upper is way overgassed and it took a lot of tries to...
New suppressor came in and I picked it up today. Huxwrx Flow 556. I bought it because the Geissele SD Mod 1 upper I bought a while ago came with their muzzle device. The suppressor comes with a muzzle device which I am putting on my DD M4 upper waiting for my M16, so I guess I need to buy...
It's cool. I originally put the handstop like that to keep my hand from slipping forward under the flash hider...
Now with the can, I just like it there because I can jamb my hand between it and the magwell.
Trijicon SRO and Surefire X300 came in for the Staccato XC. I have an Atlas...
Couple of suppressors came in - a Trash Panda for the Rattler 300BO, and an Omega 9K for the MP K-Pistol. Have some final fitment to do, waiting for a taper adapter to come in for the 300BO, and trying to figure out if one is needed for the HKParts 3 lug mount on the K Pistol. Also have to run...
The Staccato for sure, I don't shoot my CCW as much as I should, and really I shoot some form of an AR15/AR10 the most.
I am hoping to sign up for a handful of pistol and carbine classes this year to rectify that a bit.
In other news, wired a chunk of money to Miami for a transferable M16 a...
I have a Holosun on my CCW - a Sig P365. No complaints, it works great. I think higher end guns deserve a good American optic, but I can't say they're objectively better...
Should be easy to buy a new barrel on that Beretta (I would think) if it comes to it
Looks like a case-head separation.
In other news, picked up a Staccato XC to go along with my P. I have a Dawson plate, Trijicon SRO, and Surefire X300 coming in for it as well.
Yeah it is. Back in 2015 when the ATF announced changes to the application process for NFA items, I stamped a few lowers just to have.
This one has been sitting in a box just waiting around.
The barrel on this one is 11.5 inches.
My other green rifle is also a Geissele, but a factory gun...
A take-off stock morphed into a parts gun since Geissele was having a sale. I picked up a Huxwrx Flow 556 suppressor for it (well, technically just bought it and starting NFA jail time)...
Oh man, I haven't smoked a cigar in a long time. It was a social thing when I lived in Louisville, but that was 6+ years ago. I still hang onto them because I can't stomach throwing them away.
Wright Brothers out of Ohio also make a nice holster.
I think you have an Ed Brown? I have a few 1911s, but nothing super high end. The day I get a sweet Wilson or Nighthawk (or Ed Brown) will be the day I will get a nice custom leather holster for it.
I think that's a bigger issue for semi autos. I'd find it hard to pull the trigger on that gun with the leather strap in place.
My daily carry is setup a bit different...
They make a great holster, but I could so without their name all over the front. Unfortunately, it's riveted on.
This is my Yellowstone/Grand Tetons/Grizzly country open-carry gun.
I want to get a Freedom arms revolver in .454 Casull, there is a shop in Jackson that carries them and I will...
Many manufacturers make a decent cantilever mount for a good price.
I have a Vortex Strike Eagle 1 - 8 in a vortex mount. The scope is not exactly renowned for its eye relief but the setup works fine.
^^What's the eye-relief on that scope? That looks really awkward to grab the charging handle under the scope. Get a cantilever mount and move it forward, and then bring your stock in a bit.
Anyway, picture thread. El Paso Saddlery delivered a holster for a 4" Python...
Following up on a post from last page, got a Vortex Razor 3 1 - 10 in a Geissele mount installed my Sig Spear .308...
Question came up about an extended KDG handguard on my SCAR 17 - I had this KAC SR25 APC cooking anyway, and I like the SCAR as it is so I'm going to leave it. This should...
I could. It works pretty well as it is. If I needed a bit more precision work from a SCAR, I'd do a 20S in 6.5CM.
I think for me it probably just adds unneccessary weight.
KDG does make nice stuff.
