^^What's the eye-relief on that scope? That looks really awkward to grab the charging handle under the scope. Get a cantilever mount and move it forward, and then bring your stock in a bit.

Anyway, picture thread. El Paso Saddlery delivered a holster for a 4" Python...

Wright Brothers out of Ohio also make a nice holster.

I think you have an Ed Brown? I have a few 1911s, but nothing super high end. The day I get a sweet Wilson or Nighthawk (or Ed Brown) will be the day I will get a nice custom leather holster for it.

I have a few from all the custom shops. For holsters I have a milt spark IWB and a galco combat master OWB. I would like something custom with ornate flowering to match my boots for fancy days.

That is really nice. I’ll look into those. Doesn’t hurt to support Texas made leather. I just got one for my King Cobra and I like it but the leather is a little stiff. Not the best picture.

I'm taking my buddy shooting next week. I get a kick out of watching right handers struggle with the lefty. Haha

Nice holster. Cool that it holds 7 rounds for easy access. One of my holsters was very stiff (pretty thick leather) when I got it, which made for a tight fit to my M&P. But after letting it sit in the holster for a week or so, the fit was perfect. I prefer a stiffer leather, personally.

I highly recommend Draw EZ for leather holsters.

Whenever I had that issue with leather I would just wrap the pistol in a layer of wax paper and then holster it several times.

Oh nice. I just looked and it comes in a lefty too!
That they do. I've heard over all good things about them. The only "complaint" people have is Tikka barrels are a little slow.

Anyway, I just went attempt to sight mine in. I need a rear bag. I am close but I moved too damn much. I'm the bright side, I bore sighted it via a brand in the yard 60-75ish yards away with the bolt out the gun and I managed to hit a 2' box

I attempted to confirm the zero on my Daniel defense as well but I kept chasing my tail. I need to properly tq the mount and scope down then retry. It was my first time shooting with a bi pod. While hard, it was fun. I may take a class in the winter or spring.

I had read about that trick, but decided to go the route I did first. For me, it worked. I would definitely try the wax paper trick if the fit was super tight.

I highly recommend Draw EZ for leather holsters.
That's a cool product. I see that it doesn't harm the gun's finish. but do have to continually wipe down the gun? I would imagine so.

Just a "quick" Yo Dave trigger spring install this afternoon. No big deal.

I also pushed the scope mount back after this. It was too far forward. It was mounted slightly on the front hand guard top rail.
