What’s the best advice to swap the fuel pump?
It’s almost impossible to reach the fuel filter cause of the irs to drop the tank, can I lower the tank with it connected a little bit to get my hands up there better?
Stock fuel system, bolt on Cobra. Drove the car fine to where I was going about 10 miles. Ran great.
Turn it off go into a store 15 minutes later it starts and started to shutter and stalled out after a few seconds. Turned the key cranked cranked cranked nothing
Cycled the key a few times...
I hear these engines with the non forged pistons and rods aren’t happy with FI.
I heard from a few people that going turbo over supercharger puts less strain on the internals. Would this be true? Anyone running lower boost on turbos and these motors hold up ok?
Hey guys. I have an 01 cobra , I bought the car and the regular red tails were on it.
Now I have ambers with harnesses. Is it plug and play since it’s an 01 cobra?
Or do I have to go crazy getting them wired?
My 01 cobra had gears installed last year and unfortunately the installer overfilled the pumpkin( pissed out fill hole for a while) Either that or he removed it wrong.
My seal where the driver side half shaft goes into the diff has a slow leak from what I see.
Do I have to remove the diff? or...
I installed a IAC plate on the 01 cobra with two 5/16 holes to stop the rev hang between shifts. Car starts fine, revs come down perfectly with shifts, no stalling at all.
Only problem is the idle hangs around 950-1050 , it stays high now.
I disconnected the battery to reset KAM hoping this...
Does anyone know for sure or have experience with Lund racing tuning our 4Vs? I had Lund tune my 2015 GT a couple years ago , would be great if he did 4V cobras and Mach’s
Hey guys , looking to swap cams to gain some good power. Any recommendations on cams? Don’t need them mild it’s not a daily driver but don’t want them not streetable either. I can do the install myself I’m thinking as long as it’s not too much of a pain in the ass. Any advice with the install?
