I heard the same things about the quick 6 in the early stages but they have supposedly updated and refined everything but if what your saying about the stock computer being reflashed is another option then that sounds promising as well! I wonder about the wiring thats involved, like cutting and...
I'm planning to do this swap over the winter and am leaning towards the Quick 6 controller for simplicity, I'd love to hear anyone's experience with this.
I guess its ok to now to post this up, I worked out a purchase deal with Manny on this blower
and I am very pleased with the transaction! He was able to find someone to repair the case to the point where I can't tell in the pics that it was ever damaged! He has been great to deal with on this...
You think the NT05R is best? I'm running 305/20" N555R's now and need some new ones for this year and I've been contemplating what to get, these have actually been decent and I daily drive, no dig racing though. I've still got 3.31's and I dont think I'm going to change because I only play...
I'm at 760rwhp and replaced my smoked stocker with the Centerforce and its fantastic, feels better than stock and is rated at 1300lb/ft, and I daily drive my car with lots of stop and go and its very easy to putt around town with.
Agree its in your tune, I left mine outside last night and did a cold start this morning after a 22 degree night and it fired up within a second or so at the most.
I just did the Centerforce 250 miles ago and I'm very impressed with the driveability and feel so far, its lighter and feels better than stock. The car is quicker and easier to get moving from a stop, doesn't seem like 3.31's anymore. It's actually 13lbs lighter than the factory cluth and flywheel!
I agree and I may still end up getting some 3.73's over winter. I'm running a 28" drag radial now and would like to try the M/T SS and its almost 29" so 3.73's would suit it well.
Thats amazing that your stock clutch is still holding at your power level, a testament to having the right setup!
The stock 3.31's. I know it needs 3.73's at the least but more likely 4.10's. I'm not turning it into a drag racer, I was just playing around and having a little fun, I might only go to the track once or twice a year.
I'm still looking for a shifter, nobody stocks these it seems, looks like its...
Haha! I went to US131 last weekend and didnt even get a full pass, first holeshot killed my clutch, pulled a 1.82 short time with it slipping and hit second gear and smoked it! Thought I was spinning the tires till I smelled it! Lol!
