It's been installed for days now, but it just keeps on raining here. Can't get any good pics taken. The car looks SO much better. I always liked the stock spoiler, but when I suffered severe rear bumper damage and it needed replacing, I decided to get the Saleen S-281 wing. The car looks...
Car has fallen on it's face a few times under heavy load going from 2nd to 3rd. Acted as if traction control came on, but it was turned off. Fuel pressure seems erratic lately while driving. Could be the gauge, but with some of the things it's been doing under heavy throttle, I think there is a...
Received my Saleen spoiler today, the one with no side pieces. Looks pretty good in general.
I had an unfortunate incident with a hub cap on the highway going 75MPH back in December at 5:00AM. Didn't see it in the road, hit it, blew right rear tire, destroyed rear bumper behind the tire. The...
Which HE is the easiest to install? I'd like to find the one that is the best deal.
Since I plan on doing the install myself w/ help from one other person, ease of install would be the most attractive option, but overall performance of the unit is a very close second, followed by price...
I've got the stock 10th anniversary knob, an MGW chrome Cobra head engraved knob, and the new MRT red 6-speed round knob. The new MRT is fat and feels awesome. Quality is top notch on all three. I've got some chrome accessories, but I've also got red interior accents too. As of now, the MRT is...
I swapped out my pulley a while back. I have a final run 2003 Cobra so it had the plastic push-pin in the snout instead of the bolt. I completely destroyed the plastic pin when I took it out for the swap. You wouldn't believe how tight that thing was in there. I recently noticed there's a lot of...
I have a 2.93, CAI, SCT tune, MRT catted-H pipe, and Magnaflow CB for performance. I put in NGK TR6's gapped @ .038 during my pulley swap and the car ran like a champ for about 1,200 miles or so. Started experiencing a slight miss at low RPM's a few weeks ago which has since turned into a miss...
Just installed Autometer fuel pressure gauge.
1) What should it read at idle?
2) What should it read during WOT?
3) What is considered too low and a problem?
Thanks,
Torch
Installing an Autometer Lunar series fuel pressure gauge this week. I'm wanting to remote mount the sender. I've got the 4AN adapter #3275, the stainless steel hose #3227, and a 90 degree swivel #3274 to go w/ the gauge and sender.
1) Did you guys use Teflon tape or Teflon compound?
2) How...
Never got a baseline! :bash: Wish I would have.
Mods for power are 2.93 pulley, Steeda CAI, MRT catted H-pipe, Magnaflow CB, and an SCT tune. Stock Eaton still. According to the guys at the dyno shop, this turned out to be a strong yet safe out-of-the-box SCT tune from Apten. Still has some...
I've heard some modified Cobras before. Sounded stock until the gas was hit hard and the blower really started whining. Okay, my car sounds like I got a damn Pro-charger on it. Whines from the start, at idle and gets louder as it goes. Do all you guys' cars do this? What is it? The Gatorback...
Group dyno this weekend with local Cobra guys. I'm wanting to get A/F readings too. What should the ideal A/F ratio be at? What is safe? What is bad? Thanks guys.

Just installed my MRT h-pipe tonight. The quest for MY exhaust sound happiness is finally over! The Magnaflow Cat-back was a big improvement over stock. Adding the larger 4" rolled tips added a little low rumble and just a bit louder sound. The addition of the MRT pipe was the missing piece. Low...
Been raining off and on for a few days now. CAR IS DIRTY! Sorry, but it is supposed to rain for the next two days also, so I wasn't going to wash it. Enjoy the dirty car pics:
LOOK HERE!
There was thread going a week ago about MagnaFlow 4" rolled tips. There was a discussion going about MagnaFlow part #35117(?) 18" long 4" diameter rolled tip. A few people said the 18" tip was too long and would stick out too far past the rear bumper and look bad. Unfortunately it rained today...
I noticed an awful lot of people have switched to different plugs. Nobody can have that many miles on their '03's yet. So I assume there is a reason. Why have so many people switched to NGK's and Denso's? I thought the stock plugs were platinum plugs and considered pretty good. I also noticed...
Talked to a guy named David at MRT about making more shift knobs in the 6-speed pattern when I bought my catted H-pipe. He said a shift knob EXACTLY like this one, BUT in a 6-speed pattern should be available in a week or two. I'm not a huge fan of the red interior, but I think something small...
Either I'm just not seeing it or no one makes it, but it seems like all of the ultra-grip pulleys are either DUB systems, interchangable, or somehow have to mount on an interchangable hub. I just want a 2.93 press-on ultra-grip. I'm not going to go any smaller. Or maybe I haven't looked at the...
Does anyone know much about these? Do they store the stock tune like the Predator? Is one better than the other(SCT vs. Diablo) or have more options? Looking at 2.93 or 3.10, belt, and tune. Want to retain my pulley guard since it's custom painted so I'm going to be running no idlers. Trying to...
I know, I've been a member here long enough to know, but I really try to stay away from reading the pulley threads. It's too tempting! So, I'm just asking "for a friend". What is the smallest pulley you can run and be confident of no belt slip or minimal belt slip WITHOUT running an idler?
The ones listed on their page for $349 w/o cats and $449 w/ cats. Are the ones you guys are running? I remember they had leak/fitment issues and wondered if there was a different one for the Cobras.
Also, how much louder is the catted one over the stock H-pipe? And how much louder is their...
First of all, the rear two O2 sensors(the purple one and the blue one) were VERY black on the inside. Black like coal. The front two (green ones) were 10 times cleaner. What does that mean? I figured it would be the other way around.
Second problem. I guess the old Pro-chamber I have was for...
