Lol. I can dig that but will stick with a FP if a tune is in my future as I'm told it is right around the corner for the Braptor.

Im guessing this would void anyones warranty yes?

Buddy just got one after trading in his Raptor. He says he wish it had a little more power...... This would be dope!

How difficult would it be to get a new stock pcm which could theoretically be swapped if you ever took it in for work (even with the tune removed).

I doubt too difficult. I've seen several 2023 F150 guys getting a 2nd ECU in order to get tuned. Now that is because the 23+ are locked and 21-22 are unlocked.

But this was also somewhat common in the Mercedes world when I had my W212 E63, guys would have a 2nd stock ECU for the dealer visit.

I was told it was right around the corner at PRI last year...

You can't live in fear like that.

Warranty issues in the Carolinas??? Attorney Sid may be able to help you.

Was that your truck?

If not, how much HP is yours making these days?

Nope. I don't even remember what mine is making, but I know it is not currently the most powerful. However, I do have a date with the dyno tomorrow.

It's the way of the world these days. Livernois has the only truly custom tune with plug-and-play tuneability. Everything else is either canned or requires hardware work.

Yep. We've all been spoiled for choice with easy plug-in tuners for most cars for a while now.

I know Cobb will get a ton of orders for an Accessport the day they have 23+ Raptor tuning available. I feel like Squidward in the SpongeBob meme when I see all the tuned 21-22 Raptors.

And there are several people who are going to be disappointed when their nice new 2025 Explorer ST arrives with the same powertrain as the 20-24 but a locked ECU. At least I'm SpongeBob in this scenario!

No offense to Cobb (I've had a CAP) but those tunes always seemed to be the epitome of an OTS tune. Now maybe it is different with the ecoboost engines but I don't know.

Not really sure about the ECU. Sometimes they can tell if the ECU has been removed and or replaced. Have to look into that.

If I could get a new computer right from ford and swap it in w/o any knowledge of me doing so, I'd buy a spare.
