That's how I think as well. When I removed the coating and polished the snout of my Whipple... I was in thoughtless, no stress, don't bother me heaven for hours.
I can fully understand. Sometimes I just need a mindless project that requires very little thought in the process

I did it all by hand. Probably have about 15 hours into it.

I also did my Whipple Pulley and Snout. It was also a couple hours. Didn’t track time. Did it over a weekend. That was a tedious task. But cold beer sure helped lol

Great job on the pulley, how did you get into all the nooks and crannies?

Looks nice how long you spend on the exhaust. I did mine spent about 2 hours on each could have done a better job but it was hot and I was doing them on the garage floor my back was killing me haha

Looks great. A polished snout on the whipple is a MUST for me. I hate when they start to discolor and look purple.

Send it over boss ;)

Thank you. I actually used a pencil and a small thin stick. Cut pieces of sandpaper and wrapped it around the pencil/stick. Still not perfect in my books. Will have to redo the nooks and crannies again…

Thank you. I have about 15 hours into it. But had to redo various steps multiple times because I wasn’t happy with the outcome. I could see it being done in less than half the time I spent. I figured out where to start now LOL. It must be done on a table/standing height to make it easier.

Thank you. Great minds think alike! Mine started to discolour and turned into a cooper/gold color after I accidentally got overspray of degreaser on it.

Same here.

Good ole Oven Cleaner trick to strip the anodize.
That was the secret sauce in removing it. Found an old thread on here.

What are you doing with that 3.0 pulley? Is that for a 2.3 whipple?

Yes, for a 2.3 Whipple. Keeping it for now. Took me forever to find a spare pulley.
Ahh okay, I might be trying to source a 3.0 pulley. I’ve got the 2.75 currently. However I’ve got a chip and such to start it up right away but it’s for a 3.0 pulley. If you ever wanna let her go, or let your boy hold onto it while I wait for a tuner let me know :D

Outstanding job. I would have to believe the pulley really tested you. Maybe you tackled that after the 6th cold beer. :ROFLMAO:

My car was tuned today. Very happy with the numbers. I’m having some belt slip issues but the car did great.

Should end up around 790/690 at 22lbs with timing at 19*.

Andrew did an awesome job and kept me updated throughout the process of the ms3 install and sent pics/videos of the car. Cant wait to pick it up!!
