Your red Shift Solutions knob matches your key fob now. LOL. How do you like the textured finish?

I noticed that you don't have any carpeting installed. Are you working on the interior?

ok... not a "car", but is a "ride" so I guess im legal.

Picked up another LT250. That makes 5 now. Ugh. Stupid.

Couldn't resist... this one is an 89 that received a FULL, frame-off restoration with OEM and HiPo aftermarket parts back in 2001 -- Then sat in the garage for 20+ years because it "didn't run right".

I basically stole it and got it running like a scalded ape the first day I bought it.

The Ohlins front suspension is worth what I paid for the whole bike.

Added some OEM repro decals to the 89 I just picked up.

Also finally had a chance to hit the desert.

Brought the 87 to tag along.

They're still out there in that range from time to time. Definitely not as hot as the Honda stuff... probably why im a fan haha
Yeah the Honda 250R's bring stupid money.

Same thing for Banshee's. I remember seeing them for $1500-2000 back in the day. Now that wouldn't buy one that needs rebuilt.

Don't you have a quadzilla too?

True... Im wanting to buy a Banshee and 250R 3 wheeler but prices on both are stupid. Banshees seem to slowly be coming back down though.

Yes.. have a quadzilla also.

My reason for a textured finish was pure cosmetic tbh, to add raw looks rather than feeling (I've never had nor felt a textured knob before). However, following installation the textured finish does feel nice.

I was working with my interior until not. I blew my left knee meniscus at the gym. Had surgery in February, currently in the recovery process. But the intention is to paint the interior floor and leave it as is. No carpeting, no rear seats.

Thanks for the info, Fer. So this is more a weight savings? No rear seats and no carpeting. I hope your recovery goes well. Knee injuries are difficult.

What are you doing?

1) trying to figure out where to mount a catch can and run the lines, its not at all working out like I'd hoped with all the procharger piping in the way. Me being OCD about the hose routing doesnt help.

2) need to spray out the driver side corner of the engine bay with engine cleaner - the little inline oil separator didnt work so well and the procharger pulled a bunch of oil through the PCV, it sprayed oil mist ****ing everywhere from the bypass valve during sick week. The charge pipes, power steering lines etc have an oil sheen all over them.

3) probably take the piping off and see if its got enough oil in it I need to clean it out or not

4) gonna swap back to the recirculating bypass valve with the filter for an air compressor attached and see how I like that (i can swap it with the bumper on, just easier while its off
