Yeah, yeah. Some of us have cats, too. These are our Maine Coons, Gypsy (female) and Merlin (male). Gypsy is the one with the white markings.

Maine Coons have about the same life span as regular house cats even though they're considerably larger. Merlin is 18 lbs and Gypsy is 16 lbs.

Don't know if I ever posted this guy, but this was Cooper who I had for a few months during the Covid years and while I was unemployed for a couple months. Got him after he followed my gf at the time to my place in the pouring rain so we brought him in to dry off and give him food not knowing where he might have come from.

Thought it was a girl at first and then figured out he was a boy, and while he was a gorgeous cat with those colors and bright blue eyes, he was a freakin crazy cat. We got along fine while I had him but when he wanted to play he played hard and we basically had full on fights where I'd have to toss him half way across my living room to get him off me while he latched onto my arms and shirt, and after I'd throw him off me he'd come running back for more so it was like a game although I had scratches and bite marks all over my arms. Then he'd chill out and come and cuddle on my lap and kneed his paws into this heavy furry blanket I have from Japan, and he'd push his face into the blanket and it looked like he was trying to nurse from the, it was weird but pretty adorable.

One day I ended up taking a nap only to wake up to freezing cold temps in my place. I looked around and Cooper wasn't around and then I see my front door open about half way. I always lock my door because it doesn't always latch itself so locking it was the only way to make sure it didnt blow open on its own so that means he had to have undone the lock by himself and then was able to pull the door open while I was sleeping. I don't think he had to turn the door knob since it didn't always latch all the way. I walked outside to look for him and he was just walking around the outside my apartment in the bushes and I brought him back in.

Not sure what kind of cat he was but he definitely young, like maybe a year if I had to guess by his demeanor, and he was actually really large. He was definitely an indoor/outdoor cat so I felt bad keeping him inside all the time so I let him roam around in the backyard until he didn't come back one day. A few months later I was walking to my apartment when I saw him in the window of another apartment where I was. Someone else either jacked him from me but likely that was his actual home so I didn't ask the owners or anything. Plus, I had gone back to work so I really couldn't afford to leave such a destructive cat at home alone at that point. He was awesome though!

He might be a mix of Tabby and maybe Norweigen Forest Cat as well given his size and the tuffs on his ears. I really don't know though.

This one used to hear my Camaro and would chase it thru the neighborhood as I was getting home, so I could feed it. Was prego. Found homes for the kittens and ended up keeping her.

Ah.. forgot one…View attachment 1831661

This one is a feral outside cat that made its home in the backyard. Has kept all other cats/animals away. Its ****ing ruthless but its cool with us and our animals.

Recently lost an eye but still going strong!

Nice.

Seems everyone in section 8 housing has 5 cats or more.

Top left is Murphy, right side is Bella, bottom left is Twinkle. All of them are great cats individual but constantly fight in the same room.

Twinkle is very adventurous. She will hop in the car and tool around with me wherever I go. Walk around with her on my right shoulder in all sorts of place and she gets all sorts of attention. The other two are your typical lay a bout the house cats but they do go out on the front steps and wander the yard.
