Owner decided to track his EV performance. Short trips when very cold caused a breakout line when compared to longer trips when cold.

I don't see it selling well, Greenies being Greenies and all.
How does that line up with exhaust laws? Effers been trying to get this passed for 5 years now. We don't even have that many people modding exh anymore (you can have super fast IC cars that are pretty quiet now, heck I went 11.2's @ 126 through the bone stock exh on my 14 GT). Certainly 10-15% of what it was in the ricer craze of the 80's/90's.

At what speeds? Only saw one Tesla "keeping" up on a Jersey to Fl trip recently. And that was only for a little over 2 hours. Had NH plates, so wasn't getting off @ destination. The rest of them were hyper-mileing, by comparison. From what I understand 80-85 and your range goes from 300 to 200 (not even counting environmental)..

The EV buses were straining the local grid, so they use diesel generators to charge them.

Waiting for "their" logical next profound idea: "What if we put the diesel generator inside the bus so it can continuously charge the battery?"

More sucking at the EV Tit........

"The Department of Interior requires these bonds from oil and gas producers, as taxpayers have been stuck decommissioning the projects of companies that go bankrupt or were operating prior to bonding requirements."

Even with massive subsidies and the utility raping their consumers; too expensive.

Ørsted (OTCPK:DNNGY) said late Thursday it is withdrawing from an agreement with the state of Maryland to sell electricity from the planned Skipjack Wind project in the Atlantic Ocean, although it will still move forward with the nearly 1 GW project.

The prices set in the power contract for the project were no longer viable because of inflation, high interest rates and supply chain problems, Ørsted (OTCPK:DNNGY) said.

Legacy OEM’s got us here…there wasn’t high demand for all the EV models out now. Only government pressure and virtue signaling.
I worry that the legacy OEM’s will now pressure the gov further to force EV adoption in the market.
Capitalism should work its magic and weed out companies who do not make in-demand consumer products but the last time that happened we got nationalized auto manufacturers with tax payers taking it right in the exhaust port.

Saw a headline that said dealers were authorized to use sitting Mach E's as loaner vehicles. Every Ford dealer I've been to or drive by has at least 10-12 Mach E's sitting on the lots and lots of Lightnings too. You expect a lot of F150s of course, but given they're still somewhat niche vehicles it gives the impression that they aren't selling well, and that article kind of confirms that for the Mach E.

I'd pay to take an Uber home/back before I'd ever park one of those 4 wheeled toxic waste dump, can burst into flames any second, lady shavers in my driveway.
