Ethanol free gas can be a tough to find, so I thought I'd start a thread.

Here's a couple sources you can try.

1) The "Pure Gas" app - It isn't perfect, but it helps. It covers America.

2) "Pure-Gas.Org" - website listing stations throughout America. Again, this one is not complete, but it's a start.

3) Street/Hot Rodders are in the same boat we are. You can google a local street rod association in your area. If you're in MN, you can try this list posted by the Minnesota Street Rod Association (MSRA).
I'm an MSRA member. Members have worked hard for years to establish and maintain this list:

4) Your local Cars and Coffee, or bookface group may do the same thing.

So, you have a list, app, of source you use? Post it up!

What is the benefit of using pure as in your car? I know for lawn mowers it's beneficial as it won't gum up the carb when you store it over winter.

Wal-Mart's "Murphy USA" gas stations sometimes carry Ethanol-Free (aka E0), but it's a lower octane (87 I think).

The map will indicate which fuels are available for each location.

In northern AZ specifically mohave county we can get either 87 or 91 ethanol free.
My compressor in my work van runs either 91 (ethanol based) and 87 non-ethanol and I have noticed the non-ethanol both lasts longer and runs cooler as it is located in my van.
The non-ethanol 87 costs the same as 91 I haven’t purchased the non-ethanol 91 but I imagine it isn’t cheap.

In MA it's not easy to find, and most if not all of the ones on Puregas are selling in 1 or 5 gallon cans vs the pump. A year or so ago, I got a 55 gallon drum for the cars we rarely drive, but that is almost gone. Not sure what to do next, get another barrel? Ive thought about inquiring at local small airport to see if they would fill my barrel or my 5 gallon race fuel jugs (100 octane)?? Has anyone tried to buy avgas from an airport? Are there laws that prevent the transport of a 55 gallon drum of gasoline in the back of a truck (maybe an obvious ignorant question)?

Well there is the NY regulation, four 5 gallon jugs max. Are these regulations trickle down from a federal level, or does each state have its own? Good to know none the less. Thanks.

EDIT looks like the 20 gallons is trickle down from the federal level.

But you can have a 40+ gallon gas tank in your vehicle.....

I have a friend in Hudson NH who uses AV gas in his Harley. Not sure where he purchased it though honestly.
What part of MA are you in?

I've seen 90 e free gas at circle k, Newly built ones, and 87 at wawa and racetrac. Wish a top tier gas company sold it around me.
Same on this side. Might be a Marathon place up the road from work that sells it, but I never go that way though. I grab a 5 gal jug from the Circle K for my yard stuff.

non-ethanol gas provides better MPG, in the same way running higher ethanol content (like E85) kills your MPG.

The math comes down to, is the cost of E0 getting you enough of a MPG bump to offset the cost increase over E10. My local wawas carry 89 E0 and the price is usually on par with 93 E10.

For those wondering what "Top Tier" gas is:

Back in the day I lived in a small town with a small airport. Some of the stations carried AV gas at the pump. Or you could fill up at the airport.

Couple of interesting points posted on the Husqvarna website on ethanol in fuel:
