Watched another picket interview, they are locked on restoring traditional pension. If there is widespread support for that, union leadership may be in a pandora's box.

Maybe the government can just cover it like student loans.

The union has threatened to further expand its strike, which began in the early hours of Sept. 15, if sufficient progress hasn’t been made by noon Eastern time on Friday. The UAW made a similar threat last week, and followed through on it with more walkouts at General Motors (ticker: GM) and Stellantis (STLA) plants.

I think I would read a lot more of your posts if they weren't just copy/pasted from news articles.

If the UAW really wanted to hurt manufacturers they would've gone after the full sized truck plants; it would kill them. Yet, the UAW is also playing the game. Such a disgrace on both sides.

Read a few blips today that speculated roughly 6 more weeks for the UAW and big 3 to make a deal.

A long, drawn out strike was their intention all along. They're all ****s and the picketers have Stockholm Syndrome.

They may not, but the rank and file have to ratify whatever is put in front of them.
The 'rank and file' workers must support the UAW or get fired.

They will make up some lies or other stuff to get you fired (i.e., you tried to have sex with a co-worker).

Thank God that I do not own Ford Stock nor do I have an illiterate dog in this fight.

Oh I'm just an instigator. Quote the person that said the original timeline

That was an impressively quick back pedal.

I was never pedaling forwards in the first place. I only gamble with money that I can afford to lose (which I have none of), on things that I actually can forecast. How long this strike will last is not one of the things I can forecast.

Like I said, I'm just instigating

Not the first time I've instigated for an svtp wager
