Natural selection.

The numbers of complaints might grow, but the number of customers grows as well.
When I said grew and got larger, I meant it started out on a lot like an average McDonalds but packed as much inventory as possible and when it ran out, stored more on a 50x150 lot a few blocks away. It took over 30 years before it finally realized it was best to have inventory, offices AND service dept all under one roof rather than piecemeal all over the place. It seems out here a few of the better Ford dealerships shut down and the dung ones stayed open.

I think another purge is needed like we saw a few years back when manufacturers got rid of X amount of dealerships.

Changes on the fly? Shit hasn't changed in like 10 years and it's taken them seemingly a decade to release the Cyber truck.

It's easy to have high margins when being funded by the government, playing stock games with announcements and pre orders and basically acting like a hype beast tech company.

Thit will all catch up eventually.

Hey now, they're doing pretty good for a company who builds a car out of a giant tent lined with amazon basics shelving

Wasn't Ford having Mach Es selling for like $40k ADM and now they can't get rid of them?

My local dealer currently has a mach E GT on the front lawn with a giant "0% APR 60 MO" sticker down both doors on the passenger side. I feel like if these were flying off the lots, they wouldn't need a 0% apr deal.

Out here one dealer has over 160 new vehicles with three being EV. Pretty low percentage, huh?

I have been seeing several Broncos at dealers in the used lineup in my local area, not sure how many but enough so it was noticeable. Both 2dr and 4dr big Broncos not the Sport. Any Idea why folks are trading these things in?

Capitalizing on the market. I bet most of them you see are on competitor's lots...not Ford dealers.

Ford Quality? It's been craptacular.

Have you seen the videos with the Bronco headliners raining fibers all the time?

I bought a Jeep a month ago because I didn't want an ecoTurd, and that's all Ford sells.

ADM is what it is. Just follows economics. If I were to sell my house today and it appraised for $800k but some have sold for $900k, you best believe I'll list it at $900k+.

Next argument is that if you want to buy a Ford, you have to go through the dealer network. I hear that argument and don't totally discredit it...but there's too much after the sale service and such that Ford Motor Company can't provide without MAJOR corporate change. They've had multiple dealerships in the past that were Ford Motor Company owned that failed miserably.
Nah, It would be more like you wanting to sell your house and only 1000 people in America get to buy it. Then they take your house and flip it to everyone else for whatever they feel like (ADM). This is the dealership model currently.

Also in the 90s when Ford tried direct to consumer Sears and Block Buster were profitable. I think how consumers buy products have changed since then.

Wasn't there an engine issue at some point? Leaking hard top?

I sure as shit wouldn't want to deal with that outside of warranty.

Apparently the Coyote and GM's 3.0 Diesel also have Oil Pump driven belts that are submerged/cooled by oil...

It wasn't the model that didn't work...it was they're good at building cars, not the customer aspect.

Kinda like telling a technician to go talk to a customer. It's not their strong suit.

Let us say it is true and most are on a lot of the competition. That doesn't look good for both Ford and the particular model. A vehicle that has been around the block for a while. Sure. Something relatively new? Nope.
