Strong cope from you.The GTd- the car nobody asked for and the car nobody can afford. Chris Farley has got to go! What a joke! Seriously while this monstrosity was spinning around all I could think of was this…

That would go down as a dumb trade.
Totes braStrong cope from you.
I don't know how that guy still has a job. The guy takes a "lightning" on a road trip and reports back that charging is challenging. That should have been found and addressed during r&d but this is after the truck has been in production for like 2 years.I agree with SSSSSSSSSSSSSVT, Farley needs to go.
Serious question. Who's the targeted buyer for this? Sub 7 second ring times put it on par with the c7 zr1 which trades for half the price of this at the moment and we're soon getting a c8 zr1 which we know will be significantly faster than the c7
All because GM is going to make as many vettes as they can sell. Farley and Ford decided that they only want to make a handful of cars people want and then sell them to Jay Leno for 500k. The craziest part is in the video they go off on how it’s a car everyone wants, every man’s car the mustang. Then they build 5 of them and put a ridiculous price tag on it. Just when you thought ford couldn’t get more out of touch with its client base they go do something even more stupid. How’s the Mach E sales doing Farley? As his brother would say… ****ing idiot!!!I see the new Kia racecar but where's the new Mustang? /s
That's one of the things that stood out to me. I mean they threw the kitchen sink at this car when it comes to parts. I'm no bowtie fan but it seems like the C8 models offer a whole lot of performance, much more practicality, and if rumors are correct, at a lower price.
This GTD seems pretty neat from a hardware standpoint, but we probably won't see a lot of them. Maybe a handful for collectors and dedicated race teams.

In what metric? Price? The C8 ZR1 won't touch this car.
In what metric? Price?
You forgot wing size. Doubt it beats the twin turbo rear engine vette in any performance metric.Price. Technology. Power. Build quality. I'd bet lap times.
Roads? Where ford is going they don’t need roads!Ford lightning is an absolute sales disaster. They have lost over $2B on EV sales. Only a year ago they had more recalls than any manufacturer in the world. Pissing off the customer base with rainbow truck ads. I heard the negotiations arent going well with the UAW and on top of all that the stock cant even stay above $12/share. Madness!
I dont see how they have time or resources for a $300k mustang that theyll only sale a literal handful of.
I love the bench racing. What do you even drive again? You forgot wing size. Doubt it beats the twin turbo rear engine vette in any performance metric.
The C8 ZR1 won't touch this car.
There will be more than you think.
These will be driven much more than thr NFGTs were....not by race teams. The race teams will buy the new GT3 and GT4. This won't be sanctioned in a class.
You’re starting to make me think a better way of looking at this car is to think of it as a 300k multimatic racecar that happens to be street legal rather than it’s an 800hp+ 300k mustangs.

Also, you need to add 100hp to your quote.
(I know what the media is saying currently...but they're wrong).
