And what happens when he has to use firearm carrying 15rds? How does that play out?

I ask the same question to the entire "I lost all my guns in a boating accident" crowd. What happens when you actually have to use "lost" firearms?

Probably won’t need to until the next civil war so it won’t matter anyways.

It's really a non-issue for me. Would I prefer 15 rounds? Sure. I'm happy with having three 9mms in my home, and carrying one around town. If I still had my revolver, I'd be limited to 6 rounds. Honestly, I'm more upset with not being able to carry my 9mm into neighboring states (MA, ME, VT) that we travel to a few times a year.

I’d rather deal with that issue than being dead

It would very likely not be an issue, so as long as he was justified in the usage of said firearm.

It would only become an issue if you were habitually doing stupid or illegal shit.

With that said, if you are healthily proficient with said firearm, no reason to feel inadequate with 10 round capacity magazines.

Speaking of 15 rounds, this was news to me. PSA now makes 43x 15 round mags. I plan to buy a couple and see if they are reliable.

heard about that. Probably will be a repeat of SA 15 rounders… hit or miss… no pun intended…

No you’re not…

first AR?

Hey bro, I say this with love… Rip that huge ****ing dildo off the front of your rifle, as well as that sorry excuse for a front sight… if you are dead set on having a vertical grip that acts as a bipod, look into the Grip Pod… which has actually been used by military… much more streamline, lighter and aesthetic. not as obtrusive.

If you are gonna run back up front then run back up rear. Magpul makes great sets.

Isn’t VT open carry? ME Doesn’t reciprocate?

I like my dildo.

The grip pod felt like plastic and lanky. Mine is metal and spring loaded like a switchblade. Felt more solid. It's just for fun. I'm not storming Omaha beach or anything.

You sure you tested an oem actual grip pod and not some rip off? Because the grip pod feels solid and has been military issue / under contract.

but I got you man. if you dont want to, you dont want to. The criticism is coming out of a good place… ive made mistakes when setting gear/weapons and people point me in a better direction and am a better man for it… all good either way.

yeh, my local go to gun store has an AR on consignment with one. I mean it could be beat all to hell. That one felt loose, like you couldnt crank it down and get it tight enough where it wouldnt jiggle.
