Sorry, but that was dumb. Putting yourself in front of the car and ready to shoot still puts you at risk even if you light the guy up. He could hammer the throttle after being shot and you're still in the way ready to get run over. It's one of those things that's easy to get sucked into in that type of situation so I get it, and get how it happened, but look what the outcome was. He got absolutely ruined for no reason.
