So, how many times do I get to say that Ford can't limit what a dealer charges for vehicles? lol
Ford can't/won't do anything, besides make the public announcements that they frown upon it. Just like Dodge did.

I think people understand that, but the fact is that dealers are gouging prices and making ford look bad. It is ultimately where the customer “meets and interacts” with Ford.
There are plenty of dealers not doing that, so they're meeting and interacting in a positive way with Ford customers
Is it "gouging" if the customer is willing to pay the markup? A customer can pick from thousands of other ford dealers and if they choose, a different brand all together.

And that’s what we need! More dealers like yours doing good faith deals with customers. Sadly, not everyone is willing to shop around for the best deal.
I agree you gotta shop around but a lot of people don’t have that mind set and it only hurts the ford brand.
I personally don't think it hurts their brand. May even help it depending on the point of view you take. My opinion is Apple charges way to much for their products and I will never own a Apple anything but when you look at their revenue and customer satisfaction, the market speaks for itself.
I don't associate markups with the manufacturer at all other than their silly allocation process. I know it's a complicated business and they are trying to maximize profit but on popular performance cars they should pump out as many as they can. It's working pretty well for Dodge with several dealers giving big discounts on TRXs, Hellcats, and Redeyes.

When they show up to a Ford dealer and it’s prices are ridiculous while the dodge dealer next door offers rebates… that hurts the Ford Brand. That’s why ford is penalizing dealerships for jacking up prices.

Ford will not stop giving allocations to the top dealerships because those dealerships are Fords best customer.
If every season I sold you 50 tickets to a game at $10 each then you had 50 ppl come to you asking if you had tickets to said game and you told them you would sell the tickets to them for $20. I wouldn’t be able to come to you and tell you what to do with the tickets you purchased from me……
