Joel Osteen doesn't charge admission and he doesn't collect a salary from his work at his church. I never understood the hate.

He also doesnt preach the true word of God. If you notice he never preaches on the blood of Christ. Basically he is a feel good preacher. That is fine for those that watch but not for a lot of folks. Also during the hurricane that hit Houston he did not immediatly open his church for victims of the hurricane which turned a lot off.
