Not a bad video. A little light on content but interesting nonetheless.

Ford would love to have him back.

I'd love for him to be back there.

This book was a GREAT read

American Iron:

Excellent book. I may read it again this summer.

It sure is. It is pretty eye opening how bad things were and how Mulally was able to fix things while the CEOs of GM and Chrysler looked down upon him.

If he hadn't come along when he did, Ford likely would be owned by a foreign automaker right meow.

Alan Mulally is the reason I became a fan of Ford. I didnt realize it until recently, but the product launched under his watch were excellent and definitely pulled me in.

The goodwill I have toward a FoMoCo that is very different today is due in large part to Alan.

I thought the movie Ford vs Ferrari gave a lot of insight into the dysfunctional environment at Ford and probably most of the automakers, especially at that time. It was no surprise hearing what he had to say about their reluctance to even admit they had problems faced with 17bil in losses.

Wish I had sucked up all the stock I could in the days after the private airplane nonsense.

I bought 10,000 shares in “08 when it hit $1, sold half in 2011 at $8 and used the money to pay cash for my 2012 boss 302 Laguna Seca, which I still have to this day, along with the remaining 5000 shares
