Interesting interview!

Michael J. Saylor - Wikipedia

On MicroStrategy's quarterly earnings conference call in July 2020, Saylor announced his intention for MicroStrategy to explore purchasing Bitcoin, gold, or other alternative assets instead of holding cash. The following month, MicroStrategy used $250 million from its cash stockpile to purchase 21,454 Bitcoin.[22]

MicroStrategy later added $175 million of Bitcoin to its holdings in September 2020 and another $50 million in early December 2020. On December 11, 2020, MicroStrategy announced that it had sold $650 million in convertible senior notes, taking on debt to increase its Bitcoin holdings to over $1 billion worth. On December 21, 2020 MicroStrategy announced their total holdings include 70,470 bitcoins purchased for $1.125 billion at an average price of $15,964 per bitcoin.[23] Saylor, who controls 70% of MicroStrategy's shares, dismissed concerns by observers that the move is turning MicroStrategy into a Bitcoin investment firm or exchange-traded fund (ETF).[24]

Saylor understands what we are facing.

I'm not sure what ETH will reach...but I'd be happy with $5k per coin
Like I said I moved over 1500 to it from Bitcoin. Debatable if that was a good move or not. I did however start an allotment for Bitcoin weekly. I don't plan to withdraw anything but I do plan to learn more and move it around as I see fit.

I bought about $20,000 back in 2016 at $587 per.

Probably a safe bet I should sell it all now, huh?

My reply wasn't to you...I like the move from ETH to BTC that you made...I think ETH should outpace BTC this go round...but who knows.
Nah to much hype on that BITCOIN name, Cardano, BAT, IOTA, XLM and many more actually have value and are useful but didn't move like BITCOIN. Maybe one day in the future they will that is why I am holding them. The only issue will be like what happened to XRP and all these ICOs that are about to get their ass handed to them if XRP goes down.

I will say... a few very "unsophisticated" relatives and friends have began telling me about it again. Similar to thanksgiving 2017.

Crazy numbers are being thrown about for Ethereum. I've heard $75,000 per coin, $100,000 and even higher. Time will tell. There is a lot of hype around Ethereum! Bitcoin has the first move advantage though.

Wanted to play with some lower priced shares so I bought 100 bucks of Stellar Lumens and 100 bucks of XRP. Will be fun just to see what they do.
