Also, I'm kind of ok with the idea if police departments saw a large wave of officers resigning. In some departments is seems they are completely restricted from doing their job.

Criminals have been given the ok from elected local leaders that they can do as they want. The evil and bad police won't be allowed to stop you to keep you safe, especially if you are a person of color!!!

So, in light of that I say to my local criminals: I'm your huckleberry.

Weapon meaning taser, correct? By your logic why didn’t they play taser tag with him? It’s obvious the guy escalated everything with the cops and he would probably still be alive today had he not fought and just went to jail and sobered up over night.

Should LETHAL force be used against NON LETHAL force? At what point could either cop say they were in mortal danger?

Did you read my post?

A Cop is not expected to make it a fair fight, nor should they. They are also not held to the same standard as a civilian for self-defense.

They are their to impose the Governments will.

Also, define "non lethal force". You can easily shove someone and they hit their head on the pavement and die.

The officers are also armed. We have countless examples of unarmed men going for an officers pistol. They are not doing that because they intend to be "non-lethal".

Rayshard proved he had no problem injuring officers by any means possible to avoid arrest.

His actions completely go against this bullshit about police brutality towards the black community. If that was true, he should have been terrified of them and immediately complied with the lawful arrest fearing any disobedience would lead to his death.

Instead the dude has the balls to beat them down, take their weapon, try to use it on them while fleeing. Clearly he had no fear of them and it was likely a shock that the shot his stupid ass.

Why do these people have this mentality they can fight off cops and runaway likes it's God damn GTA5?

Because, like in the game, the criminals dont need to respect law enforcement and there are no real consequences.

What they were apparently never taught is that the real world has consequences.

The real issue at the moment is certain elected leaders are telling these idiots that there are NO LONGER consequences for violent and criminal behavior in Democrat/liberal big cities.

Agreed.

The other option I like is the police departments saying '**** it', doubling down and dropping the ****ing hammer on ANY and ALL Antifa/BLM with extreme prejudice. This would include beating/tasing the absolute **** out of ANYONE who resists arrest in any way, shape or form, and arresting/jailing the cucked mayors/governors of these places that have allowed this to escalate.

Order must be restored.

What's really sad is that some may see these stances as supporting Orwellian ideals, or a heavy police state.

NO! This sentiment is about supporting the effort to RESTORE order. If I'm a bootlicker because I want my elected leaders and government to do their goddamned jobs and uphold the rule of current law, then so be it.

I choose to not live in a shit hole. Therefore, i expect my government and law enforcement to use MY TAX DOLLARS and keep it from becoming a shithole.

I dont GAF what demolibs think-we wouldn't need those type of extreme measures if those ****ing moronic limp wristed loons weren't voted in office.

This is where Trumps second term will come into play.

There's no way he's completing it without the payback his enemies deserve.

He now knows that both chambers of the US Congress are infiltrated with lobbyists. He now knows that Congress's own members operate with total disregard for the nation's better interests. He now knows that some of the military's top brass is embedded in the swamp through contracts and board seats. He now sees the bureaucracies bogged in procedures and regulations that are impeding Americans and their nation. He now knows that his policies which, when implemented, have demonstrably improved the lives of Americans and their nation.

He has selected competent staff from a very small group due to that.

His second term will be scorched earth. Watch.

I'm hearing the main officer has been fired, and the other officer, is on desk duty.

Any officers want to chime in on the shooting? A dude fought off two cops, stole a taser from one, took off on foot and while running pointed it back at the officer, so the officer shot him. The media is focusing on it's a the fact that a taser is non lethal.

Officer will likely sue and win back pay.

Subject either fired the taser or had trigger depressed slightly; you can see a flash which is either deployment or the flashlight.

Such a waste. Dude would have been out of jail in a couple hours most likely.

If I were the officer I would absolutely bring a wrongful termination lawsuit against the city. Then retire and pick another career that isn't so toxic to the point where you are always in a lose/lose situation. Screw being a cop in today's climate.

Same. Most the time it’s back pay and reinstatement. Not sure why anybody would do that now.

I’d fight for a lump sum and retirement as if I finished my career out. They want to **** me, **** you too.

Couldnt agree more. Im definitely not the "sue, sue, sue" type, but this crap is getting out of control.. a few more years of this and there will literally be 0 sworn peace officers left.

Or a bunch of cops who’s first thought at the beginning of shift is “how do I not get fired or put in jail?”

Safest answer is don’t try to arrest anybody.

Was it really up to him to take the field sobriety test?
The cop did say, " Its up to you" ?

Of course it was up to him.

The same way it's up to you to show up to work on time each day. You dont have to be on time, but if you are late x amount of times, its likely you wont be employed for long.

You always have a choice, but some choices come with difference outcomes depending on your selection.

It was, if he refused then the officer shows up to court and provides what evidence he does have. Suspect passed out in a drive thru, was hard to wake, smelled of alcohol, slurred speech, red and glassy eyes, admitted to drinking.

Most likely getting a DUI in the end or a Reckless Endangerment.

This racist bigot that also just pulled health care for the LGTBQ community in the middle of pride month is a moron.....he lies everytime he moves his lips. This administration is by far the worst we have had. Lowest ever in history approval rating and most ever in history members of an admin in jail....try again. He doesnt even deserve the final 6 months. He'll be in jail where he belongs once he cant hide his taxes anymore
