I love the rotary knob in our '17 Fusion. It was one of the selling points.

Though not cool is the fact its the EXACT SAME KNOB used. At least change it up slightly.

Worse though, I saw the wireless keyfobs for the Ford GT are the exact same as our Fusions. Thats gotta be annoying for owners of a $250k or whatever it is to have the exact same keyfob as a ****ing fusion.

There is a simple reason for that each car mfg has to submit a fob design to the FCC so as to get it approved to function in the frequency settings Ford wanted to use, there was no way Ford was going to just go through the whole process again due to a totally stand alone fob for the GT, hell there is certain Ferrari's that use Maserati fobs like the F-430 for instance due to the FCC regulations.

Nope because of how the FCC regulations are, they consider it a completely new design even if it has the same microboard transmitter.

Hell GM prototype version for the new C8 Vette fob has pretty much about a 85% commonality to the current C7 one the only real difference with the mule fob is the power convertible top buttons everything else about it is the same as the C7, but the FCC considers it a completely different and new design and so must be ok by them for GM to use them in their car line ups.

The rotary shifter is a terrible idea. All I can think about is me saying " Doop Doop Doop" as I turn that dainty little silly knob from Park to Drive... Every day, every time I drive my 700HP halo muscle car. "Doop Doop Doop"

My RS5 has a 7 speed S-Tronic and has a proper lever that you can pull and push on to switch gears or switch into dynamic mode.

Yeah and remember how Dodge promised to get tough with ADM bloodsucking dealers over the Demon. What did they really do was oh we'll just move you farther down on the list like that was such a punishment.

What one of the big three really needs to do to finally get rid of the ADM for good is to black list any dealer doing it, where they will never again sell any specialty vehicle. The only thing they would sell is a bunch of stripped down V6 rental fleet vehicles only. And to tell the rest that play the game the right way that if they trade any specialty vehicle to these greedy morons then they too will be the same way. That would finally put an end to the ADM for good. As the ones that don't do it will have the ability and the ones that do will be basically out of business.

So you want to do away with capitalism. the MSRP is a SUGGESTED selling price. The dealer can sell that bitch for whatever some retard is willing to pay.

Here is what's stupid: we, as Mustang enthusiasts, allow dealers to get away with ADM/MVA. People seem to be willing to pay whatever to have one. If the Mustang community would collectively refuse to pay these mark-up's and let the cars sit on the lots, perhaps it could create a change. I just can't understand people paying above and beyond the value of a depreciating item.

What happens if your new car gets totaled and you paid MSRP and a ADM/MVA? What's the insurance value? Are you now upside down tens of thousands of dollars? I don't know, just curious. It's something to think about.

Depends on what you financed. As stated a few quotes down, some banks with throw a lot of cash over msrp. If that's the case, then you're ****ed.

GAP only covers the loan amount, and from what I recall, institutions will not allow you to take a loan on ADM.
No different than loaning for extended warranties, or taxes and title fees.

Not necessarily true. A lot of lenders will loan above MSRP on vehicles. My local credit union will loan up to 125% of the car's value. So if a new GT500 MSRP's for $90,000 I could (but wouldn't) borrow up to $112,500 for it. They don't care where the extra cost comes from. If I get GAP insurance it will cover the cost of the entire loan.
Same. both CU's I use.

The shifter in your s5 is nothing more than a switch. Its the same as the knob, but a lever. Nothing more. Don't kid yourself.

Women **** dildos, they do the same job as their fingers, but its still not real.

Your shifter is a dildo, the rotary is a finger....

yeah not a fan of it, just like the 2019 camaro with color matching bar, thought it looked better with that part blacked out.

This ain't my best work, but you get the idea...

Lol... I like it
Man that orange is ****ing killer! I like both the color matched and black cross bar.
Why havent the specs been released?

This is such a joke.

Sent from my SM-G892A using the svtperformance.com mobile app
Ford always does this or least has in recent memory. Specs come out when dealers get the order guides.

Except you can’t shift the DCT using the knob. A lever duplicates the functions of the paddles.
