So much for hammering the haddock today. It poured all day with west winds and consistent swell. 5-6’ rollers. Only got 2 haddock all day. Pretty miserable day

I'm guessing that Whataburger was from Port Isabel, just before you cross the bridge? We hit that place for breakfast one day before fishing.

It was actually a Wb from Brownsville as we stayed there for a visit to the zoo. I am about to head out to Dennys for a Slam before hitting the pool and beach

I remember the first time I drove from Brownsville to SPI, people would pull to the right to let you pass as you came up behind them. Do they still do that? I get cheaper flights to Harlingen now so I go that route.

Yeah, well for the most part. Highway 48 is pretty desolated except for the the fishing spots on the side of the road. I am from Mission so I live about 90 mins away. So i try to come at least once every other month. Although I had not been to Brownsville in over a decade. Cant wait to start my vacation next month. Two months off so you guess what I do.
