Definitely an awesome price on the Kimber Custom if it is brand new. Lists for $1,079.

Yeah and actually with the rail and threaded barrel they list for $1,175.

I had been looking for weeks and got lucky this one popped up. Usually I'll buy a gun and drop cash on it immediately...but this one satisfies me for now just how it came out of the box.

I love the smell of a new pistol getting hot.

I do need one.

But priorities.

I am, however, picking these up in a trade this weekend.

Pretty decent.

The fire rating isn't so hot (pun intended). Also, it's an 80 gun safe based on total interior space...but my safe actually has bigger dimensions and it's a 46 gun safe. I would have a hard time fitting 20 in it with optics.

I don't like the one you posted due to lack of shelving, ability to adjust the rifle barrel holders, etc. It'd be a good safe, but I imagine you'd find yourself wishing you had gotten a different one.

I haven't seen any others close to it size wise for the price.
I'll would not be able to fill that up in 40 years. At least not with guns. Would be able to use it for other important stuff.

Correct. The price is great! Just commenting on the functionality and the fire rating.

That is a good price. Do it. It appears to be their version of the liberty fatboy. Its not the best thing on the market, but its a good starter safe.

Picked these up in a trade from a good buddy.
Gonna de-mod the Spikes/Troy build a bit. Already took the optics off and put a flip up rear on it.
The billet is a F1 upper/lower with Timney trigger, Spikes CHF barrel, and PSA rail (I'll change that to the matching F1 rail soon). Added my Aimpoint H1 on it.

Just dropped an Overwatch DAT V2 trigger in the Glock 19. What an incredible difference. Can't wait to shoot it.

Threw some grips on my P09, need to get Talons, back strap is slippery, but these cheap-o grips are still on there nice and tight.

Also put some Dawson Precision sights on there.

Having the suppressor height sights without a can was difficult for me to shoot consistently. I bought this gun for the color and the extra barrel length didn't bother me as it is for the range and home defense.

The gun grouped awesome before:

But I couldn't repeat those results every single time with the sight being so far above the bore.

Yeah brand new. I had to jump on it. I didn't really need one, but they're bringing $100-175 more than that here.

Nice Kimber. That is my favorite pistol manufacturer. I collect them like baseball cards. Here are a couple out of my collection:

Beautiful guns.

I picked these grips up as a cheap novelty and I actually like them a lot.

The one thing I don't like about this full size Kimber is my thumb isn't long enough to hit the slide release.

Those are cool looking grips. My friend has the same issue with his Kimber, and slide release. He does this slight rotation in his hand, about 30 degrees, that brings slide release closer to his thumb, then once released, he rolls it back into shooting position.

I like them. If I shot a lot in dust in stuff I would forego them, but typically I keep my guns very clean and they don't get dropped or anything.

I'll give that a try, thank you!

If your right handed use your support hand to operate the slide stop as you re acquire your grip.
