Why go with a single point sling for a long distance rifle? I understand the bipod and generally shooting in the prone position. But if you try kneeling or standing being able to use a regular rifle sling would help with accuracy.
Completely agree. I plan on using this as a intermediary gun. My friends and I do our own shooting drills for fun and they require shooting on various positions. I decided to sacrifice the long distance for the comfort of standing and prone shooting 150-250 yards.

Also time to start flooding the letters to your congressman about having 41f (if that is what it was called) modified/repealed.

Understandable. Have you looked at a 3 point sling then? Combines best of bost world IMHO.

I have not. I've always only used a single or double point sling. I'll check into it though, thank you!

I had a 3 point sling in Astan (Blackhawk IIRC) on my M4. While it was more material than a single point it allowed me to carry the weapon in multiple configurations (single point better in the truck/while walking around and "two point" for accuracy).

No worries man. Also I'm jealous of that safe you got...
For $3300 delivered including tax, you can have a matching one. haha

I wanted to get rid of our sauna and build a vault room...the wife vetoed it real quick so I settled on this. I told her I'd probably need another one when this one was full.

Looking at picking up a CZ P-09. Anybody here with personal experience?

yep. got the fde, had to wait 4 months to get it when they were first announced. put 5 to 600 rounds with multiple brands with not a single ftf/fte. it's a tack driver and probably my best pistol as far as accuracy. can't beat the capacity either!

I have the urban grey suppressor ready version. I'm at 700 rounds as of Thursday, not one single malfunction using Winchester White Box or Monarch cheap-o stuff.

I would be totally content with a standard P09. I still have a problem staying consistent with the high suppressor sights, but a P09 is retarded accurate.

Double action is pretty damn heavy, mine has barely any grit in it. Single action was awesome since day one, but both after 500 rounds broke in really nicely. There is nothing to the single action now.

We have a massive water heater that I'm thinking about ripping out and replacing with a tankless setup. I'm then going to take the freed up space and put a large safe in.

I picked up this C93 Sporter the other day. Came with two 40rd mags and 4 30rd mags. I traded two Mosin Nagants for it lol. A friend of mine had one of these years ago that I really enjoyed shooting so I can't wait to see how this one does

I'm glad I did. I'd suggest Browning, they make great stuff.

Got a PTR and love it. You had time to play with her at the range yet?

I would look a liberty also. You cannot beat their warranty.

At my local dealer. Was talking to them about a damaged safe from break in. The homeowner was on vacation. They snatched it thru wall with chain and had days alone with it. Torch, grinder, pry. The cops found it. Traced back to house. Homeowner had a gift certificate for a replacement before he was back from vacation. Forever lifetime of safe. Fire, theft replacement if they can't repair.

That's pretty impressive.

However if someone took it and destroyed it beyond repair, I'd want a different brand haha

Give someone enough time and the right tools, no safe is safe (pun intended). I find it crazier they snatched the thing through a wall. An exterior wall? Those thieves had to know some valuable shit was in their.
