As far as the Terminator Shootout aspect of this event, we'll just have to see. I put 3 months of work into this event and a lot of folks made a big commitment for this weekend. Not sure how many of the out-of-towners could commit to a reschedule with so little time. Stay tuned.....

So does this mean that the track is totally closed tomorrow? I still have birthday plans to run faster than a 13 (one of my friends thinks that I wouldn't go faster than 13.00) and if its dry outside, I still want to go.

Yes. If it were to clear up enough in the afternoon for the crew to dry off the track, MIR would certainly have the option to open for their regular test and tune sessions. But, I doubt VERY seriously if MIR will be able to open at any time this weekend. If it did, we would of certainly considered holding the event.

well its supposed to be clear for VIRGINIA Motorsports Park > Drag Strip > Home
so a few of us that are bummed out are going there for the test and tune if anyone else would like to join...i think its only an hour or so from buds creek (correct me if i am wrong).

Dunno, maybe. Jason alluded to that date as a possible re-schedule, but he won't know for sure until he talks to Royce and then calls me on monday. I'll let everyone know then.


Lets hope it works out...I realize that's not a ton of notice, but it will be close to a month away, so with some luck we can still get a good turnout.

This would be a great show for the club to go to! 1000-2000 cars, Great time! Looks like most can do both now!!!

Yeah, speaking of the football schedule, would anyone here be adverse to doing this race on a sunday rather than a saturday? That would make no difference to many of us at all, but it would make a world of difference to Dwight.

i know someof the fellow lightning owners will show just as spectators just to see what times are goingto be turned. with the weather messing up the lightning owners tnt after your event we are looking to reschedule as well.
