What does your typical pulley/cai/tune Shelby put down to the ground? The reason i ask is because a friend says they're good for 600 rwhp with just those mods.
Justin at vmp says 520-560rwhp range the norm for most cars with 2.6 pulley, cold air and program. Of course there will be some that have more and some that have less, but most fall in that range.
Just remember though that the 540 on the KR is not to the Rear wheels... With a 2.6 Pulley/Cai/Tune you should be looking at around 565-585 RWHP with the right temps.. If you want over 600 try and get a lower IW pulley.. Just my $.02

My guess is that your friend is referring to high end numbers at the crank and confusing it with rwhp.
Mine put down 560 rwhp with JLT, 2.6, JBA's and tune on a Clayton dyno.
Stock it was 420.
The highest my tuner has seen is 573.
Most are in the high 540's.
Dynojets give higher numbers.
remember 99" of people want to know the hp at the crank
I usually tell people crank hp unless I am talking to someone with a brain
LOL I bet its priceless.LOL!! Yeah, it's fun to watch their face when I say "about 900hp".:burnout:

Even with 15% drive train loss you would be at 864 crank.
