Well that could be, I suppose - but without any other information, based on the movie itself - I'll stick with alien

i just saw it. it was AWESOME!!!!
Sounds to me like there was no real storyline or plot. :shrug: If you never learn any background on the creature, then IMO you fail at telling the story. I will maybe wait till the DVD release. I am sure that it is suspenseful and what not, but I would leave the movie feeling like I got duped if I didn't find out where or what the creature is.

you have to see the movie to find out whats going on man. It was simply amazing throughout the whole movie.
i thought it was pretty good,
being similar to the blair witch project with the way its being filmed by hand held camera, its all basically happening real time so they dont know what it is.

Hissman - The plot is there but it's not going to make you think and wonder - not super complex I don't want to spell it out for you though, incase you go to see it. It's worth seeing, IMO...but like I said, solid C+.

I wouldn't call it a plot. More like walking into a pile of dog crap. Yeah it's there, but gosh does it stink.

Just watched the movie. Boy was it dumb. All the 'Blair Witch' type shooting of the movie ruined it. Absolute garbage. But RAMBO looks good!!!!!

I thought that this filming, combined with the special effects really did the trick. Remember, the whole point was to see their view and know what they know about the situation. It's completely watchable, just not fantastic.
I wish this would have come out before blair. People have such a bad taste in their mouths from that BS, it casts a dark shadow of suckage on this film.

I thought it was pretty good. Some pretty messed up shit throughout the entire movie. I like how they made it seem it could be real.

If I had spent that much I would totally agree. The theater in town that was showing the movie has cheaper tickets early in the day so thats when me and my g/f went plus there is alot less people to distract you. The movie is worth watching but don't have high hopes.
I believe I saw it too. Was it a splash out in the distance behind the boat?
