Wonder if the hood was repainted.

The red cars with white stripes had a terrible time with the red bleeding through the stripes on the hood.

$475,000 high bid with 7 days remaining! Absolutely no surprise! I expect higher bidding.

From the photos, I don't see any red bleeding. And no mention of any paint bleeding in the listing.

I know this is someone's collector and will end up in a collection, but man if I had the coin to buy this I'd drive it and wouldn't even be sorry for doing so.

Why? You could save stupid money and find one that has already been driven.

Time to check my lottery tickets.

There are a few still driving around here and their looks definitely stood the test of time. Can't say I can say the same for that gen Ferrari or Lambo. I saw both a 360 and a Gallardo yesterday....yuck. A friend let me drive his Gulf version back in 2008, it was just the right amount of raw and I've wanted one ever since.

It was more hypothetical, and an in general I don't get people that but cars just to look at them. It's like dating a woman but leaving her fresh for the next guy. Life's short, enjoy it!

These GTs will be one million dollar cars in the not so distant future. From what I remember, Ford had a hard time selling them when they came out. Wished I had the cash.
